90% of the time, I enjoy my "Chubbyfoot" hiatus. I don't miss 30 shoots a week or the scheduling nightmares that come with 2 dozen "minis". I have way more lunch dates (great for my social life, bad for my waistline!) and have enjoyed being more present with my kids. But everytime I do a photo session here, I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I miss it. I realize I miss capturing those sweet moments with a family that melt my heart and make my job oh so fun. When I met up with the Haywards last week at some amazing Abbey ruins just 25 minutes from my house, it was no exception.
I loved the way..
she giggled when dad dropped her and made her little tummy flip.
the little guy felt so big when I stood him a little taller than dad on a stump.
mom gazed at her sweet boy.
dad kissed his bride so willingly when I asked him to.
the sun filtered thru the 1000 year old stone and vine.
So thank you, Haywards, for reminding me how much I love what I do! It was more fun than you can imagine and I hope I've captured the sweetness in your family that is palpable all around you.
