Have you heard of it?
To tell the truth, I hadn't either before this trip. The hubs had a work trip scheduled to Singapore and South Korea this February and we were looking for something in the middle for fun. My first thought was Bali (but it was their rainy season), and then SE Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, etc.. but there's too many places I want to go there so I decided to save it for another trip!). SO.. we literally pointed our finger in the middle and voila: Philippines it was! There were several great islands we could have explored, but when I read Travel and Leisure named Boracay the best island in the WORLD in 2012, it got my attention!
