The Boe's were in Paris for 5 days before arriving to us and saw it ALL! So it was nice to take them on a few day trips where the pace was a little less breakneck, the agenda less rigid and more time for the kids to play and enjoy each other.
First up was a day trip to Monschau, Germany, which is less than 2 hours from our house. I've heard how cute it was but have been "saving" it for a visitor. We went on a fabulous sunny day and enjoyed this quaint little town, indulged in brats and ice cream, and hiked to the top to enjoy the view. I highly recommend for my local friends, or anyone that's coming to visit me! (hint hint!)
