I've always loved this quote by emerson. What a poetic way to express what we all feel and know.. and seeing the tulips in Holland for the 2nd year in a row is a HUGE treat that I hope to savor long after I'm gone from this European "holiday". You may remember our visit from last year.. this year, it was just me and the Texas gals on a GORGEOUS day (did I tell you yet that they think I live in sunny CA!? lol) and strolled thru Keukenhof. It was a little early in the season, so the fields weren't as plentiful outside of gardens, but the garden itself was splendid and I'm so glad they were here when it was tulip time!
