I'd heard it was an amazing day at our school every year: The International Festival. But I really wasn't prepared for how fantastic it really was! There were 57 countries represented, with around 30 booths that sold all kinds of culinary specialties and treausres. I got there a little early and was able to take some pictures before the massive crowds took over, so I'm thankful for that. Outside, there was also a huge parade of nations that got me a little choked up, I must admit. The bagpipes start the occasion with each country following; it's citizens waving their flags excitedly. It was such a neat experience for our kids to be a part of and I'm already looking forward to next year's event! So, sit back and enjoy some snapshots from our International Festival!
