Venice is - Venice is better." ~ Fran Lebowitz I would have to whole-heartedly agree. What a special treat to be able to share such a gem with our kids last weekend. School was officially over on Friday and we were up at 4:30am Saturday taking our flight to one of the grandest cities on earth! The hubs and I had been before (and I went recently with girlfriends), so it was time to introduce the kids to one of my favorite places. It was as magical as I'd hoped. They had gelato 3 TIMES the first day, were actually able to DRIVE a gondola thanks to our fantastic gondaleer, and enjoyed mom taking photos of them at every corner (ok I may have embellished that last part a little).. but can you imagine the fun i was having with my most precious subjects in such a fantastic place??? :) So, here goes.. our welcome-summer-gelato-pizza-pasta-sunshine-gondala loving weekend!
